“Just to meet business-as-usual trends, 115% more copper must be mined in the next 30 years than has been mined historically until now with electrifying the global vehicle fleet requiring 55% more new mines than would otherwise be needed”.
All well and good you might think, but the vast expansion of renewables and and associated infrastructure makes this 115% insignificant, even if it was achievable!
